AULD LANG SYNE

In Auld Scots

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And days o' auld lang syne?

CHORUS:

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We tak' a cup of kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
And here's a hand, my trusting fiere,
And gie's a hand o' thine,
And we'll tak' a right gude willie-wacht
For auld lang syne.

CHORUS:

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We tak' a cup of kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

It has been a family tradition since 1902 that at the close of our annual reunion we form a large circle, clasp hands and sing "Auld Lang Syne".
